LANCASTER, Pa. – For the third consecutive year, the Diplomat Athletic Club reached new levels of success as contributions totaled $464,102. The Diplomat Athletic Club (DAC) was started in 2002 to provide budget enhancement for Franklin & Marshall’s Athletic & Recreation Programs.
“We are so fortunate to have such dedicated alumni, parents and friends of athletics,” said Director of Athletic and Recreation Patricia S.W. Epps. “Their commitment to the excellence of our programs provides valuable athletic and educational opportunities for all of the students at Franklin & Marshall.”
The DAC contributions are almost $40,000 over its 2011-2012 then-record total of $424,389. 2011-12 also saw a record 1,583 individual donors give to the Athletic Department. The DAC year-end totals do not reflect any capital gifts received during the year.
Monies raised through DAC help enhance F&M’s Athletic Programs by funding, among other items, assistant coaches, uniform purchases, new equipment and training trips.
Since its inception in 2002, the DAC has raised over $2.1 million dollars in budget enhancement revenue and over $4.2 million in capital gifts.
100 percent of every gift goes directly to the sport or sports a contributor chooses. It’s never too late to give and you can do so by clicking here.
