Mayser Locker Room Renovation

Locker Room Sketch

Do you remember the locker you used in Mayser as a student-athlete? It’s still there! It’s time to provide our dedicated student-athletes with locker rooms that are clean, functional, and more conducive to team building.

The Locker Room Renovation Project will provide much needed renovations to all student athlete locker rooms in Mayser. Renovations will include:

  • New space configurations which will provide separate team rooms for all varsity sports while they are in season.
  • Locker placement along the walls of teams rooms in order to create central spaces that are more conducive to team meetings.
  • New larger lockers for football, men’s and women’s lacrosse and field hockey.
  • Improved lighting, more sanitary flooring and updated bathroom and shower facilities.

Over the past 6 years, Franklin & Marshall College has recommitted itself to improving our athletic programs and facilities. Athletics is a priority of Franklin & Marshall College, highlighted by:

  • The Women’s Lacrosse National Championship in 2007.
  • The hiring of full-time assistant coaches for all sports including football and lacrosse.
  • The building of the new tennis facility and the new turf field for lacrosse, soccer and field hockey.
  • The current construction of the Turf Field Pavilion and minor improvements including new paint and flooring to the Mayser Locker Rooms and hallways.

Looking forward, the College will more extensively renovate the locker rooms and needs the financial support of its alumni, parents and friends to make this happen.
