combating HIV/AIDS in Africa. The Diplomats embarked on a goodwill
tour in partnership with Grassroot Soccer in South Africa, and
provided funding for the Christopher T. Campbell Memorial Soccer
Complex, which will serve as an education and soccer facility.
The field hockey team claimed the first Dip Pride Award. Awarded
by the SAAC in order to create a more integrated community of
student athletes, administrators, and the greater college
community, Dip Pride aims to acknowledge, develop, and encourage
the student-athletes' contributions to Franklin and Marshall
College and Lancaster County's communities.
The SAAC’s new presidents were introduced. Alex Raup, Mollie
Ruben, and Shannon Summers will now oversee the committee.
The College also recognized its 232 members of the Delphic
