F&M Alums Bend it With Beckham
As the 2010 World Cup draws nearer, the soccer world's attention is shifting to South Africa. With the British making a play for the 2018 World Cup, Campbell Memorial Field, built in honor of the late F&M soccer player, Christopher Campbell, has seen recent visits from David Beckham and Dr. Nicola Brewer, the British High Commissioner in South Africa.
F&M Soccer alums, Amy Cawley and Ryan McGonigle have been on hand to greet the goodwill ambassadors. See the articles below for a brief update of developments at Campbell Field in Khayletisha Township, South Africa.
