Milligan Earns CC Player of the Week Honors

LANCASTER, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall sophomore guard Georgio Milligan (Spring Valley, N.Y./Don Bosco Prep) was named Centennial Conference (CC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week.  This is the second time Milligan has received CC Player of the Week in his career, earning the honor last season on December 8^th.

Milligan averaged 15.0 points and 7.0 assists while shooting 54.5 percent from the floor in a pair of Diplomat wins. He was named MVP of F&M's Tip-Off Tournament.

He was instrumental in the Diplomats come from behind, 81-70, victory over Gwynedd-Mercy. Milligan exploded for 16 points in the second half including six points in the Diplomats' go-ahead, 15-9, scoring run late in the game that ignited F&M's comeback. Milligan ended the night going 8-for-15 from the field and 4-for-4 from the line. He had a game-high eight assists and added three blocks and two steals.

Franklin & Marshall is 2-0 and return to the court tomorrow when the Diplomats travel to Lebanon Valley.
