CC Final Four is Set

LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall will host the Centennial Conference (CC) Final Four this weekend at the Mayser Center. The Diplomats have the top seed and they will play Muhlenberg, an 84-69 winner over Ursinus on Wednesday evening, at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Washington (Md.) will take on Gettysburg in the first game at 1 p.m.

F&M defeated Muhlenberg twice this season. The Diplomats took the January 12th meeting 80-58 and narrowly escaped the February 8th matchup 69-63. F&M holds a 69-58 advantage in the all-time series that dates back to 1903.

The Championship Game will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday. All three games will be broadcast live on the web, courtesy of Franklin & Marshall and the Centennial Conference. You can find up-to-date information regarding the CC Final Four by clicking here.

The winner of the CC tournament will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Playoffs. The NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Committee will make its selection of teams for the 2010 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship Sunday, February 28.

The announcement will be presented via webcast on www.NCAA.com beginning at 10 a.m. Eastern time Monday, March 1. The bracket will also be posted on www.NCAA.com at approximately 10:30 a.m.
