Centennial Conference to Host Basketball Multimedia Tip-Off Events

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Centennial Conference (CC) will kick off the 2012-13 basketball season by conducting interactive multimedia tip-off events featuring its 11 women's and 10 men's head coaches Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.

The multimedia event will replace the traditional coaches' press conference, with each of the head coaches discussing their prospectus for the upcoming year via interactive video conferences using Google+ Hangouts On-Air.

Both events will begin at 1:00 p.m., with the women's event taking place on Tuesday and the men's on Wednesday. F&M head women's coach Kirsten Richter is scheduled to appear at 2:30 p.m., while head men's coach Glenn Robinson is slated for a 2:45 p.m. time slot. Both coaches will have 10-minute blocks to answer submitted questions through a moderator.

Richter led F&M to an 18-8 record in 2011-12, including a 15-5 mark in the CC, marking the most wins for the program since 2007-08. The Diplomats advanced to the CC semifinals for the second consecutive year.

Robinson guided F&M to a 28-3 record, its third consecutive CC title, and fourth straight CC regular season crown a season ago. The Diplomats advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the 23rd time in program history and the Elite Eight for the 10th time.

All fans can submit questions via the CC Facebook page or Tweet questions using the hashtag #CCTipOff13.
