Series History: F&M opens the final week of the regular season hosting Dickinson for the 186th meeting. The Diplomats hold a 112-73 advantage overall and a 37-13 mark in Centennial action. The Diplomats close out the regular season at Swarthmore. F&M holds an active 10-game winning streak and looks to extend a 37-4 record in CC play.
Playoff Picture: F&M has already clinched a top-three spot in next weekend's Centennial Conference Playoffs. The Diplomats enter the week controlling their own destiny. If F&M wins both games this week, the Diplomats would earn the top-seed and host the playoffs. F&M can still secure the top seed with a loss to Dickinson, and a win over Swarthmore as long as Johns Hopkins losses one of its final two games.
20-Win Plateau: With one more victory, F&M would reach the 20-win plateau which would be the 28th time in head coach Glenn Robinson's 47 seasons that F&M has earned 20 or more wins. It would also be the eighth time in 10 seasons that the Diplomats have reached that milestone.
Among the Leaders: Heading into the week, Brandon Federici leads the Conference with 20.9 points per game and 73 triples while Ignas Slyka and Matthew Tate are first and second with 2.4 and 2.3 steals per game. J.C. McGrath is tied for first with five double-doubles this season.
Records Watch: Brandon Federici enters the week with three career records already reset with one more major one in his sights. Last week, he reset the Centennial Conference scoring record set in 2008 by Nick Shattuck (1,973) from Ursinus. He became the all-time scoring leader in program history two weeks ago and he is also closing in on the program field goal record (663) held by James McNally '11 at 706. Shattuck holds the CC mark at 754.
Two Grand: Brandon Federici enters the week just seven points of reaching 2,000 career points. Federici is looking to become the first player in the F&M and Centennial history to reach the milestone and one of just 120 players from all of Division III since 1975 to hit 2,000.
D3hoops.com: F&M moved down four spots in this week's D3hoops.com poll. The Diplomats are ranked 24th, joining Swarthmore (12th) and Johns Hopkins (22nd) as the only three ranked teams in the CC. Click here to see the full poll.
Last Time We Met Dickinson: The Diplomats dropped a hard-fought contest 55-50 earlier this season against Dickinson. For a full recap, click here.
McGrath and Federici both finished with 14 points. McGrath added eight rebounds to his stat line and Ignas Slyka chipped in nine for F&M.
Last Time We Met Swarthmore: Brandon Federici and J.C. McGrath combined for 52 points to lead No. 22 Franklin & Marshall to a 74-68 victory over No. 9 Swarthmore on Jan. 13, 2018. Click here for a full recap.
