Crew Places Fourth

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall competed at the 2010 Neuweiler Plate on Saturday hosted by Lehigh on the Lehigh River. Lafayette won the Neuweiler Plate with 304 points with Lehigh in second place with 295 points, Franklin & Marshall in third with 231 and Penn State placing fourth with 224 points.

The Varsiity 8 Crew of Felipe Barron-cox, David Kaess-stroke, Greg Hershman, Danny Falciani, Clement Hsu, Will Riegel, Jacob Seidenberg, Ho Hong Lau, Buck Wolters placed fourth with a time of 3:47 behind Lehigh (3:25), Lafayette (3:27), and Penn State (3:29).

The Varsity 4 team took third behind Leigh (3:51) and Lafayette (3:58). The team of Felipe Barron-cox, David Kaess-stroke, Clement Hsu, Will Riegel and Ho Hong Lau placed third with a time of 4:04, beating PSU (4:09).

The Men's Novice 4 Crew of Allie Rosenfeld-cox, Jeremy Emata, Mac Nelissen, Xiaojin Ren and Sam Condon placed third with a time of 4:42, beating Lehigh (4:43) and behind Lafayette (4:14) and PSU (4:20).

F&M returns to the water tomorrow at Occoquan Sprints located in Fairfax Station, Va.. Competition is set for 10 am.
