Men 17th at Navy Day Regatta
PHILADELPHIA - Franklin & Marshall's rowers finished in 17th place in a field of 24 crews at the annual Navy Day Regatta.
"The crew felt they had a better performance than last week and are now looking to peak for their final race," said Head Coach, Claus Wolter.
The Naval Academy won the event with a time of 12:11. F&M's 13:28 put the Diplomats 16 seconds behind last year's conference champions, Mary Washington University. F&M finished ahead of Philadelphia University, Loyola, Kings' Point, Susquehanna and Scranton.
The JV men's 8 finished last of the 11 entries with a time of 15:09. Navy won the race in 12:55.
The men's novice four finished 10th of 14 entries ahead of Mary Washington University, Kings Point, Susquehanna, and Villanova.
The men's crews finish their season on Oct 25th in Saratoga, N.Y. at the Head of the Fish Regatta.

Men's Novice 4 - Bow to stroke: Buck Wolters, Mark Doghramji, Arthur Kurtzman, Jeremy Emata, coxswain Greg Hershman.
