F&M Competes with Union

Worcester, Mass – The Franklin & Marshall men's rowing team raced against Union College on Sunday afternoon.

The men's 1st Varsity 8+ (Felipe Barron - cox, Nick Ferra - str, Clement Hsu, Connor TenCate, Jeff Smith, Will Riegel, Jake Seidenberg, David Kaess, Will Kiefer) slugged it out with Union College down the 2,000-meter course, and came up just short, finishing in 6:47.9 to Union's 6:43.9. The 2nd Varsity 8+ (JP Pitarque - cox, Greg Hershman - str, Ho Hong Lau, Tuvshin Gantulga, Dan Clarici, Laurent Bacque, Matt O'Shea, William Tran, Ben Weiserbs) also rowed a good race against the Union 2nd 8+, but faded in the final 500m, finishing in 7:28.0 to Union's 7:10.1

F&M returns to water on Saturday against Scranton in Conshohocken, Pa.
