F&M Fifth at Murphy Cup

CHERRY HILL, NJ. – Franklin & Marshall men's varsity 4+ placed fifth out of 27 teams at the Murphy Cup held in Cherry Hill on Saturday afternoon. The event featured teams from all three divisions.

The men's varsity 4+ team of Felipe Barron-cox, Clement Hsu-stroke, Connor Ten Cate, David Kaess, and Wade Stanley earned a spot in the final after defeating strong crews from Philadelphia University and Temple. In the final the Diplomats placed fifth with a time of 8:01.87 out of 28 crews, Colgate won the event in 7:46.82.

F&M returns to the water on Saturday when the Diplomats compete at Neuweiler Plate held in Lewisbury. Race time is set for 11:00 am.
