Diplomats Set for MARC Championships

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's men's rowing team will be competing in 2012 Middle Atlantic Rowing Conference (MARC) Championships at Gifford Pinchot State Park on Saturday.

The Diplomats Varsity 4+ of Felipe Barron-cox, Clement Hsu-stroke, Connor Ten Cate, David Kaess, and Wade Stanley have placed first in two events this season and will try to continue that success into this weekend's championship race.

F&M finished third at last season's event, behind perennial powerhouse Washington College and Rutgers-Camden.

"The men's varsity 4+ has been competitive all season racing against good crews from larger programs than ours. They could very well win at the MARC," said head coach Robert Weber.

Race time is set for 9:15 am in Lewisberry, Pa.
