Rob Weber
Head Coach
College: Wabash

Weber joined the Franklin & Marshall rowing staff in 2008, bringing several years of experience to the program. He has served as an assistant coach at William and Mary in two separate stints and assisted at Savannah College of Art and Design.

At Savannah, Weber was primarily responsible for coaching novice men, and produced a crew that placed second at the Southeastern Regional Championships and third at the Clemson Sprints. His crew also placed 13th at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship Regatta (SIRA), winning the C Final with the ninth fastest overall time.

In addition to providing practice supervision and technical instruction to William & Mary’s rowers, Weber coached Varsity and novice crews for the Tribe. In the spring of 2006, William & Mary’s Varsity women’s four took the Waterfield Cup from Virginia Tech and placed first at SIRA and the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Crew Championships. 

Weber is an experienced rower who has put in the water for the Aberdeen University Boat Club (Aberdeen, Scotland) and Wabash College crew. A 1995 graduate of Wabash, Weber was a Lilly Fellow, Phi Beta Kappa, and graduated magna cum laude. He earned a Master of Arts Degree in History from William & Mary and a Master of Library Science degree from the University of Kentucky.

Weber is currently the Director of Library Services for the Lancaster County Historical Society

Hank Zimmerman
Assistant Coach
College: Ithaca

Zimmerman joins the staff for the 2009-2010 season, bringing three years of Varsity rowing experience to the program. The 2009 graduate of Ithaca College majored in History and Sport Psychology while rowing for the Bombers as an undergrad. A Coach/Dockmaster for the Susquehanna Rowing Association during summer of 2008, Zimmerman is currently a graduate student at Millersville in the Sport Management program.
