    Centennial and Middle Atlantic Conference Announce Bowl Series The Centennial Conference and the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced today that they are partnering for two postseason football games between member institutions. The Inaugural Centennial-MAC Bowl Series will involve the top two teams from each conference that are not selected for the NCAA Division III championship tournament.

    Naji Earns Academic All-District Honors Jon Naji was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 4 Team, announced Thursday. The CoSIDA Academic All-America Program requires that nominees are at least a sophomore with a 3.3 or higher cumulative grade point average and are starters or significant reserves on their team.

    Week 9 Notes - Diplomats Travel to Baltimore Johns Hopkins and Franklin & Marshall meet for the 67th time in a series that began in Baltimore with a 10-3 F&M win in 1912. The Diplomats hold a 35-29-2 lead in the series and a 19-14-2 mark in Baltimore. Since Centennial Conference play began in 1983, Johns Hopkins owns a 19-13 edge. Hopkins had won 10 straight over F&M leading up to the 2007 meeting, a 19-11 F&M win. That was Hopkins? longest streak in the series. F&M owns the longest streak between the two teams, taking 17 matchups between 1971 and 1988.

    Week 8 Game Notes: Diplomats Look to Bounce Back Against Susquehanna Saturday’s game marks the 16th meeting between Franklin & Marshall and Susquehanna with F&M leading the series 11-2-2. The first clash between the two teams came in 1898 in Selinsgrove. F&M won 6-0 on October 25 before both teams met again in Lancaster the following year and played to a 6-6 tie, the first of two ties in the series. F&M has won the previous two meetings.

    Wagon Week - Diplomats Will Battle Red Devils on Homecoming Weekend Since 1963, the Diplomats and Red Devils have played for a model of the wagon that transported both teams to play each other in the two 1889 meetings. A gift of F&M Athletic Director J. Shober Barr and Dickinson A.D. Dave Eavenson, the trophy is meant to symbolize the friendly gridiron rivalry between the two institutions. F&M holds a 28-24 advantage since the inception of the trophy game, including an 18-year victory streak from 1970 until 1987.

    Week 4 Notes: F&M Looks to Continue Streak against Juniata Today’s game marks the 12th time these schools have convened on the gridiron and the eighth time since Juniata attained associate membership status in the Centennial Conference. F&M has won all eight meetings since the Eagles have landed in the league. F&M’s 27-12 win in Huntingdon in 2007, rekindled the rivalry after 21 years. The first two contests were played in Lancaster - 61 years apart. The Diplomats won the first game played back on Oct. 18, 1924, by a 27-0 margin.

The Diplomats have taken seven of the last 13 meetings, with the Bears coming out on top in four of the last five years. Franklin & Marshall holds a 63-29-4 lead in the series and a 20-12 lead since Centennial play began in 1983. The series was intermittent before a 15-year stretch from 1968 to 1982 when the schools met each season as members of the Middle Atlantic Conference. The two stopped playing when the Diplomats left for the Centennial Conference in 1983 with F&M holding a 25-8-1 series advantage.

The camp, in it's 12th year, raised more than $114,000, through registrations and donations from the one-day high school camp.
