Game Notes: Franklin & Marshall (6-3, 5-3 CC) at Gettysburg (5-4, 4-4 CC)

Saturday’s game marks the 96th meeting between Gettysburg and Franklin & Marshall in a series that began with a 68-0 F&M win in 1890. The game was played on Thanksgiv­ing Day for the better portion of the early part of the 20th century. The Diplomats hold a slight lead in the series with a 45-43-7 edge.

The series returns to the Battlefield where F&M holds a 13-11-2 lead. The Bullets have won each of the past two meetings in Gettysburg. The last F&M road win in the series was a 38-20 victory in 2004.
