Deutch to Play in D3 Senior Classic

Franklin & Marshall tight end, Michael Deutch, will play in the Division III Senior Classic in Salem, Virginia Friday night.

Deutch, a D3PRODAY.com Second Team All-American, caught 39 passes for 561 yards and eight touchdowns in 2010. He earned All-Centennial First Team honors for the second time in as many seasons. Deutch also recorded 12 tackles and a pair of blocked kicks on special teams. He averaged 37 yards per punt for F&M in 2010.

Deutch is the third Diplomat to play in the senior all-star game. George Eager and Clarke Miller competed in last year’s contest, while John Troxell and his staff coached the South team’s offense.

The game will be webcast live for free over Internet by Knoxivi, and televised on a tape-delayed basis by America One Network /Fox Sport Network.
