Saturday's game marks just the 12th time these teams have squared off on the football field. F&M holds a 6-5 advantage in the series. Washington & Lee took three-straight in the early 1960's before the series went on a 43-year hiatus. The Diplomats have won four of the five games since the revival in 2006. F&M has won all three games at home since the series' renewal as well.
