LANCASTER, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall took two of the three Centennial Conference (CC) Football Player of the Week awards Sunday evening. E.J. Schneider was named Offensive Player of the Week while Jordan Zackery received Special Teams Player of the Week for their performances in F&M's 36-26 win over Gettysburg Saturday afternoon.
The honor is the first for Schneider this season and the third for Zackery.
Schneider (Barry Lakes, N.J. / Delbarton School) carried 16 times for 135 yards and scored four touchdowns as the Diplomats defeated Gettysburg. He scored on runs of 8, 83, 1 and 1 yards. Schneider also threw for 159 yards for 294 yards of total offense.
Zackery (York, Pa. / William Penn HS) had 122 return yards and 208 all-purpose yards in the Diplomats' win over Gettysburg. His 35-yard punt return to the four-yard line set up the third F&M touchdown.
F&M wrapped up the regular season with a 6-4, 6-3 CC mark and will wait to see if they receive an ECAC Bowl invitation.
