Series History: F&M and Delaware Valley will be meeting for the first time in NCAA competition on Saturday. The Diplomats' freshmen team faced off with the then National Agricultural College in 1948, falling 13-0 to the Aggies. 

The Diplomats' ECAC History: Saturday's game marks the 10th ECAC appearance for Franklin & Marshall. The Diplomats are 4-5 in ECAC play, and 1-2 in ECAC games on the road. The first ECAC game at Wagner in 1986 was F&M's first postseason game of any sort.  

F&M Last Week: E.J. Schneider scored four times to help deliver Franklin & Marshall a 36-26 victory over Gettysburg in Centennial Conference (CC) football action last Saturday afternoon. The win marked the first time the F&M senior class defeated Gettysburg.

Schneider completed 14-of-25 passes for 159 yards and added 135 more on the ground on 16 carries and scored four touchdowns.  

Frank Strumolo went over the 100-yard plateau for the third-straight week with a game-high 177 yards on 36 carries and a score. Jordan Zackery led all receivers with 81 yards on six catches and Tim Muller finished with 45.  

The F&M defense was in the Bullets' backfield all afternoon, racking up 10 sacks and holding the Bullets to just 268 yards. Gettysburg came into the game with the second-best offense in the conference, averaging 481 yards a game. 

Ryan Young led the group with 15 tackles (10 s); four went for a loss including two sacks. John Stark had eight stops while Brian Velasco and Leo Chubinishvili ended with six apiece. Chubinishvili, Brendan Wengerter and A.J. Koikoi all collected two sacks while Troy Harrison and Jonathan Cox pick up a sack apiece. 

Best Season on Record: E.J. Schneider has a chance to put together one of the finest seasons in F&M history. The senior enters the game with 3,079 total offensive yards, with 779 rushing yards and another 2,300 through the air. He has scored 12 rushing touchdowns and passed for another 16. If Schneider picks up 301 offensive yards in today's game, he was reset the CC and school record for total offensive yards in a season and total offensive yards per game. Hewitt Tomlin from Johns Hopkins had 3,337 yards in 2010 and Gettysburg's Matt Flynn averaged 307.1 in 2009.  

Schneider currently sits in top 10 in multiple single season school records. He is tied for first with 12 rushing TDs, first with a 6.77 yards per rush average, second in offensive yards at 3,079, fourth with 28 TDs responsible for and eighth with 779 rushing yards.
