It was a historic season for Franklin & Marshall football in 2014, as the Diplomats won the 600th game in program history with a 31-7 drubbing of McDaniel on Oct. 18. The victory put the Diplomats in an elite group of institutions, as F&M became just the eighth program to win 600 or more games. In their 127th year, F&M joined Mount Union, Wittenberg, Washington & Jefferson, Widener, Williams, Wabash and Amherst – all of which have also been playing football for more than century -- in the exclusive 600-win club. Overall, the Diplomats posted a 5-5 record on the season.

Seven Diplomats were named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) Team at the conclusion of the year. Receiver/return specialist Jordan Zackery '15 and defensive back Aaron Fant '15 earned first team accolades, while right tackle Frank Seitz '15 and left tackle Ryan Ignatovig '16 landed on the second team.

Zackery became the 40th player in CC history to be named to the first team three times and was one of four players who were unanimous first team selections in 2014. He finished his career peppered throughout F&M's record book. His 262 career receptions set a school and conference record, while his 4,612 all-purpose yards also ranked first in program history. The senior finished fourth in reception yards (2,517) and kick return yards (1,161) while his 21 reception TDs ranked fifth and his total points scored (144) was good for sixth all-time.

Defensive lineman A.J. Koikoi '16, inside linebacker Ryan Young '15, and defensive back Brian Velasco '15 were also named to the second team. Velasco finished his career as the program leader in solo tackles with 173 while Young's 143 solo stops placed him sixth all-time.
