LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall Football Team donated 13,620 diapers to the Water Street Ministries Shelter that will provide children with diapers for the next three months at the shelter. Since its inception in 2012, The Little Dips Diaper Drive has collected more than 45,500 diapers for the children living at Water Street.
The diapers were collected on Oct. 15 when the Diplomats defeated McDaniel on Homecoming Weekend. Last year the Football Leadership Society donated 8,136 diapers to the Water Street Ministries Shelter.
"This would not have been possible without the generosity of our parents, alumni and fans who helped contribute to this worthy cause" said coach John Troxell. "We are fortunate to have a group of young men who understand the importance of paying it forward and we are thankful for the support from the F&M community."
