LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's Stephen Colodny was named a Division III Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar, announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The honor is the second consecutive of Colodny's career.
To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status an individual must be a junior or senior academically and compete in at least two full years at the collegiate level, participate in 50-percent of his team's competitive rounds or compete in the NCAA Championships, have a stroke-average under 79.0 in Division III and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2.
Colodny (Westport, Conn. / Staples) continues to stockpile awards during his senior season, having earned a spot on the Mid-Atlantic All-Region team for the third straight year, while also being named the Centennial Conference (CC) Player of the Year and landing on the All-CC First Team after totaling a 219 to win his first Conference Title at the Championships.
F&M continued its unparalleled dominance after securing its fourth straight CC Title and 14th overall Conference Championship. The Diplomats placed first in four regular-season tournaments and earned their 12th NCAA appearance.
