COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's men's track team sits in sixth place amongst the nine competing teams at the Centennial Conference indoor track and field championships. The women's team is in tenth place amongst the ten competing teams.

Kwaku Anno won long jump with a mark of 22-1.5" giving him a full foot on the field. It also marked the second Centennial gold medal in the event for Anno, who took gold at last spring's outdoor championships. Gettysburg's Steven Papuchis took silver. Anno's jump accounted for half of F&M's 20 team points accumulated on Saturday.

Anno joined Steven Tracy, Mike Arnold and Jake Gomolinski-Ekel for Centennial bronze in the 4x200-meter relay. The Diplomats' foursome combined for a 1:32.55 coming in .42 seconds behind Gettysburg's gold medal group, and .07 seconds behind Johns Hopkins' entry.

The men's distance medley relay team of Ryan Bell, Jared Pickell, Charlie Bowen, and Pavel Marossine placed fifth for four team points with a 10:45.17. Haverford picked up the gold medal in the event with a 10:22.27.

The women's top finish came in the distance medley relay. Shannon Weir, Laura Hansen, Megan Hunter, and Rachel Suydam placed sixth with a time of 12:57.61. Haverford posted the winning time of 12:37.31.

Nicole DiBenedetto contributed a team point in the 5,000-meter run taking eighth place. She logged a time of 19:02.45, 42.05 seconds off of the gold standard posted by Dickinson's Caitlin Bradley.

The Championships wrap up on Sunday with the final 19 events.
