LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall men's lacrosse swept the Centennial Conference weekly awards on Monday as Sean Rogers was named Offensive Player of the Week and Scott Hatch earned Defensive Player of the Week honors. The awards are F&M's fifth and sixth of the year, as Rogers picked up the accolade for the second time this season after also being recognized last week.
Rogers netted two with a pair of helpers on Wednesday in F&M's 11-9 win over No. 13 Gettysburg, snapping the Bullets' 22-game CC win streak. He followed that performance up with three goals and one assist in F&M's 11-3 win over Haverford on Saturday.
Hatch was key in F&M's victory over Gettysburg on Wednesday, making pivotal saves in key moments and finishing the day with 12 stops. He ended the week with six saves in the win over Haverford.
The Diplomats return to action tonight at 7:00 p.m., visiting Lebanon Valley in nonconference action.
