Marcozzi Named CC Player Of The Week

LANCASTER, Pa. - Chris Marcozzi has been named Centennial Conference (CC) Defensive Player of the Week for the week of April 21-27. It is the first time he has earned the honor.

Marcozzi, a sophomore goalkeeper, tied a season-high 15 saves, making nine in the decisive second half to lead the Diplomats (8-5) to an 11-9 upset over second-ranked Gettysburg on Saturday night.

Marcozzi started every game in goal this season, posting an 8.61 goals-against average and making 129 stops for a .556 save percentage.
