Three Named To All-CC Men's Lacrosse Team

LANCASTER, Pa. - Mark Hild, Noah Wilkinsky and Mike Ohrnberger, members of the Franklin & Marshall men's lacrosse team, were named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) squad, announced on Tuesday.
Hild, a junior attacker, is earning his first all-conference honor on the second team. He led the team with 34 goals and 15 assists for 49 points. Hild ranked fourth in the CC in goals per game (2.62) and fifth in points per game (3.77). He scored four game-winning goals, three extra-man goals and one man-down tally. Hild netted a season-high five goals in a 10-8 win over Dickinson, earning CC Player of the Week honors.
Wilkinsky, a senior midfielder, is receiving his first All-CC accolades as an honorable mention. He tied for third on the team with 25 points, scoring 17 goals and dishing out eight assists. Battling an injury midway through the season, Wilkinsky made five starts in 10 appearances. He tallied a season-high five points with four goals and one assist in a 13-7 win against Elmira in the 2008 opener.
Ohrnberger was named an honorable mention, earning the same recognition as a sophomore. The senior defender started in every game this season, anchoring a defense that only allowed 8.55 goals per game. Ohrnberger collected a season-best three ground balls in an 8-7 win over Kings Point.
The Diplomats concluded the season with an 11-9 victory over No. 2 Gettysburg, finishing with an 8-5 overall record and 4-4 mark in the conference.
