LANCASTER, Pa. – A total of seven Franklin & Marshall men's soccer players landed on the All-Centennial Conference (CC) Team, announced on Thursday. Ugo Okolie, Jason Tonelli, Wyatt Fabian and Dave Reingold all earned First Team honors, Ben Wild was named to the Second Team, while Alex Bilodeau and Jeremy Levine received Honorable Mention recognition.
The seven Diplomats making the team are the most in program history.
Okolie (Lagos, Nigeria / Mercersburg Academy) was named All-CC for the second straight year after landing on the second team last season. The sophomore forward leads the team with eight assists, which are good for the second most in the Conference. He also tallied three goals on the year to total 14 points, a number that ranks second on the Diplomats.
Tonelli (Freehold, N.J. / Colts Neck) earns the accolade for the first time and currently ranks second in the CC with 10 goals and 21 points. On Sept. 21, the junior forward torched Swarthmore's defense with a hat trick, the first for an F&M player since 2013. His four game-winning scores leads the team.
Fabian (Sinking Spring, Pa. / Hill School) has been as stalwart on the backline, earning All-CC honors for the second consecutive year after starting in all of the Diplomats 18 contests. The junior defender has one goal and four assists on the season while anchoring a backline that holds the second-lowest goals against average mark in the conference at 0.75.
Reingold (Marlboro, N.J. / Colts Neck) was named to the list for the first time and continues a four-year trend of a Diplomat goalkeeper being honored with All-CC accolades. The senior netminder is second in the CC in goals against average (0.67), save percentage (.852) and shutouts (seven). He leads the way in wins with a 12-3-4 overall record, as well as minutes played (1752:45) with starts in all 19 games.
Wild (Newtown, Pa. / La Salle College H.S.) earns the honor for the second straight year. The senior captain started all of the 14 games he appeared in as a leader on the Diplomats' backline. Wild has played a key part in a defensive unit that allowed just 15 goals so far on the season, the second fewest in the CC.
Bilodeau (Plymouth Meeting, Pa. / Plymouth Whitemarsh) garnered a place on the list for the first time in his career. The sophomore midfielder has made starts in 11 games, tallying two goals and one assist.
Levine (Flemington, N.J. / Hunterdon Central Regional) received All-CC recognition for the first time. The senior captain has made starts in 16 of the 17 games he appeared in for one of the top defensive units in the Centennial. Levine's name has been a fixture in the lineup throughout his time in Lancaster, placing fourth in program history with 77 games played and seventh in games started (65).
F&M is set for this weekend's NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament, hosting the first and second rounds at Tylus Field for the third consecutive year. The Diplomats (12-3-4) open action with a matchup against Geneva (16-3-1) on Friday at 5:00 p.m.
