LANCASTER - One hundred and ten minutes of soccer provided nothing Wednesday afternoon in Lancaster, as Franklin & Marshall and Rutgers-Camden battled to a 0-0 tie in double overtime.
The Diplomats gave the Scarlet Raptors a scare in the 108th minute when Brandon Corday took a direct kick from 22 yards out. But Corday's bender near post arched just wide and the tie was preserved.
Neither team could get anything going in the opening half. F&M had several crosses in front of the net but could manage only one shot, while Camden managed three.
The Dips had a flurry of shots in the 46th - 48th minute with Chris Walters firing three shots, but visiting keeper David Cunningham came up big when he had to.
Cunningham had five saves on the day; F&M keeper Ed Steltz had two.
