de Melo Named All-American
Franklin & Marshall junior, Gabriel de Melo, was named a College Squash Association (CSA) First Team All-American. The team was announced by the CSA on Monday afternoon.
de Melo played his way into the consolation quarterfinals in the CSA Individual Championships’ top draw after leading F&M into Potter Cup competition and an eighth ranking in the nation. He wrapped his season with a record of 11-5 and teamed with Ryan Mullaney to win the Ketchum Cup, awarded to the top doubles team in the country.
de Melo is the 14th Diplomat to earn All-American honors. F&M’s 14 All-Americans have produced 32 All-American certificates.
