Men’s Squash Blanked by No. 4 Columbia

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Franklin & Marshall's men's squash team, currently ranked No. 16 in the nation, was dealt a 9-0 defeat by No. 4 Columbia on Sunday afternoon at the SL Green Streetsquash courts in New York, N.Y. 

With the setback, the Diplomats dropped to 1-4 on the year while the Lions improved to 3-0. 

By the Numbers 

Columbia managed to earn three-game sweeps in all nine contested matchups. Freshman Sanjay Jeeva went toe-to-toe with one of the sport' top competitors in Osama Khalifa at the No. 1 spot in the order but came up short, battling to a narrow 11-9 defeat in the second frame en route to the 11-7, 11-9, 11-5 overall match score.
