F&M Taken Down by No. 9 Yale

LANCASTER, Pa. – Despite a number of close matches, Franklin & Marshall's No. 16 men's squash team was unable to secure a win on the ladder in a hard-fought 9-0 defeat against No. 9 Yale on Saturday in Mayser. 

The loss dropped the Diplomats' record to 1-5 on the season, while the Bulldogs improved to 2-0.

By the Numbers

F&M forced a pair of matches past three games, including a back-and-forth contest at the No. 5 spot. Samm Fulton battled back from an opening-game defeat to take two straight games before falling short with losses in the last two frames. 

Sanjay Jeeva responded to an 11-8 defeat in his opening game at No. 1 with a 12-10 victory in the second frame, before also dropping his next two games.
