The Diplomats gained 492 points at last year's CC Championships, earning fourth place. F&M looks to be strong in the relay events with an experienced group of returners. Four freshmen enter the fold for the Diplomats, and look to make an immediate impact on a team that already boasts multiple conference champions from previous seasons.

Ryan Caffrey – Sr.
Eric Dietrich-Peterson – So.
Jonathon Sinton – So.
Lang returns for his final season in Lancaster after reaching the podium in the 400-yard medley relay and the 200-yard medley relay last season.
As a freshman, Caffrey grabbed gold in the 100-yard breaststroke, and will look to strike gold again in 2017-18 after reaching three individual finals in 2015-16.
Dietrich-Peterson, the current school record-holder for the 100-yard fly, looks to follow up a strong rookie season that ended with a podium finish at the CC Champs, placing third in the event. He also finished third in the 200-yard fly, and was part of the 400-yard medley relay team that secured second place, as well as the 200-yard medley relay team that finished third.
The CC Preseason Poll ranks the Diplomats tied for fourth with Washington at 20 points. Gettysburg topped the list with 34 points and four of seven first-place votes, followed by Swarthmore in second with 30 points and three first-place nods.
After this weekend's meet at York, the Diplomats begin CC competition the following Saturday, traveling to Washington for a 1:00 p.m. competition.
