Anno Earns Bronze in LJ
LANCASTER, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall's men's track and field team is in seventh place amongst the nine competing teams two-thirds of the way through the Centennial Conference Championships.
Kwaku Anno earned bronze in the long jump with a 21' 6.25" leap. Chaz Thomas claimed gold with a 22' 10.5" leap.
Anno ran the fastest qualifier in the 400-meter dash with a 49.70. He was the only runner to finish in less than 50 seconds. Dickinson's Sean Denson ran the second best qualifier at 50.13. He and Lipton Thompson each qualified for the 200-meter dash finals as well. Thompson and Steven Tracy posted the third and fourth best qualifiers for tomorrow's 100-meter dash final. Thompson ran an 11:06 followed by Tracy at 11:51.
The finals will be contested on Sunday, the final day of competition.
