Michaelis Places First in 55m Hurdles
SELINGSGROVE, Pa. – Nils Michaelis took first in the 55-meter hurdlers with a NCAA provisional time of 7.73 at the Orange and Maroon Classic hosted by Susquehanna on Sunday. The Classic featured Division III teams and was a non-team scoring event.
Ryan Bell finished the 800-meter in 1:59.36 while Joe Strawitz finished with a 2:02.28. Bell's finish was the top time of the two sections. Ezra Rothman ran the one-mile in 4:41.53 and was followed by teammates Andrew Marra (4:55.75) and David Raffman (4:55.82).
Brian Rivera crossed the line at 53.51 in the 400-meter dash. The 4x200 relay team finished with a 1:35.71. The team included Mike Dohrmann, Aaron Myers, Tim Tillman and Michaelis.
Nick Fromell jumped 37'-11.25" in the triple jump, placing sixth.
