LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall returns to the Centennial Conference (CC) Men's Track and Field Championships on Friday, traveling to Johns Hopkins for the first of three days of competition. Action begins at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, with start times scheduled for 8:45 a.m. on Saturday and 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.

The Diplomats collected seven medals a year ago, finishing in third place for the second-consecutive year. F&M totaled 77 points on the weekend, while winners Johns Hopkins compiled 222.

Fresh off a school-record-breaking performance on Friday at the Penn Relays, Logan Lewis enters among the favorites in three throwing events. The junior is the odds-on favorite to win the shot put for the third time in as many opportunities, as his seed distance of 16.03 meters (52-7.25") is more than 1.5 meters ahead of his closest competition.

Lewis also owns the top seed in the hammer throw, which will be contested at the CC Championships for the first time this year. His distance of 45.43 meters (149'-0") again makes him the favorite, while Ramon Williams is seeded third at 40.08 meters (131'-6") and Ryan Kozloski is seeded ninth at 35.55 meters (116'-7"). In the discus, Lewis' entrance distance of 44.13 meters (144'-9") is the fourth-best in the conference.

Kozloski leads the F&M contingent in the fourth throwing event, the javelin. His distance of 55.92 meters (183'5") is the second-best in the Centennial, while Tanner Erisman is seeded fourth at 54.25 meters (178'-0") and Lewis is seeded seventh at 48.42 meters (158'-10").

A.J. Bates looks to lead the Diplomats on the track at his first CC Championships. The freshman enters the weekend with the Centennial's third-best time in the 110-meter hurdles (15.77), while his time of 22.86 makes him the fourth seed in the 200-meter dash.

Nick Salatino Jr. owns the Centennial's ninth-fastest time in the 100- meter dash, clocking in at 11.41.

Michael Whalen paces the distance corps, as his time of 9:52.90 is good for the seventh seed in the 3000-meter steeplechase. Brien Miceli is seeded 11th with a time of 10:10.00.

Erisman leads the way for F&M in the jumps, seeded ninth in the long jump with a distance of 6.14 meters (20'-1.75"). Jabari Benjamin is seeded ninth in the triple jump (12.01 meters, 39'-5") and 11th in the high jump (1.70 meters, 5'-7"), while George Pekeshe enters the pole vault as the 10th seed with a height of 3.70 meters (12'-1.5").
