Men’s Cross Country Runs at Mid-Atlantic Regionals

BETHLENHEM, Pa. - Greg Duckloe paced Franklin & Marshall's men's cross country team at the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Regionals held at Leigh on Saturday. Duckloe finished the 8k course in 27:35, finishing 117th out of 314 runners. Chris Marker, from Allegheny, took first crossing the finish line at 24:54.

The Diplomats finished 23^rd out of 45, with 671 team points. Allegheny won the championship with 59 points.

F&M's Ryan Bell crossed four seconds behind Duckloe, running a 27:35 (123^rd). Franklin Dekker logged a 27:47 (137) followed four seconds later by Angelo Arce who placed 142nd. Josh Wesalo, Erik Olsen and Blancero rounded out the Diplomat top six. Wesalo finished 152^nd (28:09) while Olsen turned in a 28:45 (181) and Blancero finished at 29:13 (203).

The Diplomats improved 41 positions from last year's regional 64^th place. The race ends the 2009 season from F&M.
