Men's Cross Country Grabs First at York Invitational
YORK Pa. - Ryan Bell placed first overall at the York Invitational with a time of 27:00 to lead Franklin & Marshall to a first place finish. F&M easily powered their way to the top in an eight team-competition placing five runners in the top 15.
The Diplomats were competing in a field of 72 runners. Greg Duckloe
finished second overall at 27:08. Angelo Arce logged a
27:43 finishing sixth place and teammate Josh Wesalo placed
ninth with a time of 28:07. To round out the top finishes for the
Diplomats, Tim
Merlino ran a time of 28:17 placing 12th overall.
Crossing the finish line 21st was Francis Blancero
with a time of 29:18. David Raffman and
Erik Olsen ran
together placing 24th and 25th respectively. Sophomore Andrew Marra
placed 29th with a time of 30:09. Finishing up for F&M were Trevor
Donnelly with a 36th place finish (30:33), Dylan Jennings
(31:22), Erik
Mariani (31:58), and Dominic
Trombetta (34:21).
Franklin & Marshall will be back on the starting line
October 1, at Paul Short Invitational.
