Lyman Paces F&M at CC Championship

GETTYSBURG, Pa. — Spencer Lyman placed 36th to lead Franklin & Marshall at the 2017 Centennial Conference (CC) Championship, hosted by Gettysburg on Sunday afternoon. The Diplomats finished eighth with 226 team points, while Haverford took the team title with 21 points.

Lyman completed the 8,000-meter course in 27:51 to lead the F&M squad. Haverford's Henry Woods won the event in 25:12.5. Pat Manion was a few seconds behind Lyman at 28:02.3 for 39th and Bryce Williams also finished in the top-50 at 44th with a time of 28:20.3.

Matt Krogstad and Ryan Braun finished 53rd and 54th respectively with times of 28:55.8 and 29:07.8. Noah Yadgaroff was 55th at 29:33.2 and Ryan Kiger took 57th with a time of 29:42.4

Postseason action continues for the Diplomats on Nov. 11, when F&M heads to Big Spring H.S. for the NCAA Mid-East Regionals.
