Meisenberg Named to All-CC First Team

LANCASTER, Pa. – Senior guard Sarah Meisenberg has been named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) First Team, announced on Tuesday.

Meisenberg is one of three CC players to repeat as a first-team choice. The two-time captain and All-American leads the team with 14.8 points per game. Meisenberg has started every contest and recorded double figures in points 20 out of 25 games. She posted her first double-double of the season with 22 points and a career-high 13 rebounds in a 61-55 win at Swarthmore on Jan. 31. Her 10 assists against McDaniel also marked a career best.

This season, she set the school record for free throws made in a game and season while breaking the program record for career assists. Meisenberg was recently named a Jostens Trophy finalist and to the CC Academic Honor Roll.

The Diplomats travel to Muhlenberg on Saturday to face Johns Hopkins in the semifinals of the CC tournament. Game time is 3 p.m.
