Meisenberg Named to All-CC First Team
LANCASTER, Pa. – Senior guard Sarah Meisenberg has been
named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) First Team, announced
on Tuesday.
Meisenberg is one of three CC players to repeat as a first-team
choice. The two-time captain and All-American leads the team with
14.8 points per game. She also ranks third in the conference in
assists per game with 4.04. Meisenberg needs three points to
become the fifth player in CC history to reach 1,500 points and 500
rebounds for her career. Her 1,497 points ranks her 11th on
the conference charts and fifth in F&M history.
Meisenberg has started every contest and recorded double figures in
points 20 out of 25 games. She posted her first double-double of
the season with 22 points and a career-high 13 rebounds in a 61-55
win at Swarthmore on Jan. 31. Her 10 assists against McDaniel also
marked a career best.
This season, she set the school record for free throws made in a
game and season while breaking the program record for career
assists. Meisenberg was recently named a Jostens Trophy finalist
and to the CC Academic Honor Roll.
The Diplomats travel to Muhlenberg on Saturday to face Johns
Hopkins in the semifinals of the CC tournament. Game time is 3 p.m.
