Head-to-Head: Franklin & Marshall and Ursinus are meeting for the 46th time with the Diplomats leading 25-20. Ursinus knocked off F&M, 60-55, in November.The Diplomats battle Muhlenberg for the 39th time with a 20-17 series lead. F&M hasn't won in the series since 2009. F&M will take on Bryn Mawr for the 23rd time holding a 21-1 advantaged. Bryn Mawr's only win was in 2007.


Last F&M Game: Beth Holt's two treys sparked a 15-1 first half scoring run for Franklin & Marshall to help lift the Diplomats to a 68-48 win over Swarthmore Saturday in a Centennial Conference (CC) game.


Trailing 23-11 with 11 minutes left in the first half, F&M exploded for 15 points to go ahead 26-24 with 4:35 left in the game. Holt game off of the bench to nail two baskets from behind the arc, and a free throw, in the run while Kristina McCarthy added six and Alexa Barbush knocked in two points.


Swarthmore knotted the contest at 26 a few seconds later but the Diplomats answered again with a 9-0 run to head into halftime up 35-26. Emma Lisle scored four points, Holt three and Barbush two in the final 3:35 of the half.


Franklin & Marshall scored 16 points off of Garnet turnovers in the first half and netted 11 second-chance points.


Allison Bauer and Barbush both scored four points in the opening five minutes of the second half, and Collen Bott added a bucket, to give the Diplomats a 45-29 lead. The Diplomats' lead never went below 13 points in the second half and went as high as 20 in the final minute of play.
Barbush paced the Diplomats with 19 points added four assists and grabbed seven boards. Holt finished with 14 points and five assists while McCarthy chipped in with 10 points and team-high nine boards.


Last Time We Met Ursinus: Alexa Barbush's eighth and final steal and ensuing free throws clinched a 65-60 win for Franklin & Marshall over Ursinus Thursday evening. Barbush drained both shots with 25 seconds remaining.


Megan Pauley's jumper with 42 seconds remaining put the Diplomats up three points before Barbush sealed the victory with a steal and two made free throws. Barbush scored nine of her career high 17 in second half, scoring 13 points from the line.


In addition to Barbush F&M had two other players scoring in double figures. Beth Holt scored 18 on 5-for-11 shooting from the floor and 3-for-5 from behind the line. Megan Pauley score 15 points on a 6-for-11 night.


Last Time We Met Muhlenberg: The No. 19 Muhlenberg women's basketball team went on a 6-0 run with 49 seconds remaining in regulation to seal a 55-61 victory over Franklin and Marshall in Centennial Conference action.


Tied at 55 apiece with just over 1:30 to go in the second half, Muhlenberg's Alexandra Chili was fouled on a made jumper, and capitalized on the three-point play, sinking a free throw. Kelly McKeon notched three more free throws to nab the win over the Diplomats for the second time this season.


F&M opened up the game with a 9-2 advantage five minutes into play, as Muhlenberg slowly got its momentum. The Mules took their first lead of the game with nine minutes to play in the half off a layup from Chili and never gave it up, going into the break with a 28-27 edge over the Diplomats.


Last Time We Met Bryn Mawr: Alexa Barbush and Megan Pauley combined for 40 points in Franklin & Marshall's 90-43 win over Bryn Mawr.
