Head-to-Head: Franklin & Marshall and Johns Hopkins are meeting for the 61st time with the Blue Jays holding a 31-29 lead. Hopkins knocked off the Diplomats last season, 60-50, while F&M's last win was in 2008, 64-63. The Diplomats will play Haverford for the second time this season and the 26th time overall. F&M holds a 22-3 series lead. Haverford beat F&M, 53-39, in November and the Diplomats last win was last season, 53-48.
A pair of free throws from Allison Bauer, and two buckets by Alison Menna and Barbush, gave F&M an early 6-0 lead in the first four minutes of the game. McDaniel got within one, 6-5, before the Diplomats went on a 7-2 run to take a 15-7 lead with 9:10 left in the game. F&M used another big scoring run, 11-4, to take a 29-15 halftime lead.
McDaniel put together a 23-13 run to begin the second half to come within one, 42-41, with 10:05 left in the game. F&M answered with a 10-0 run to take a 52-41 lead with 7:12 left in the game. Barbush and Holt each scored four points in the run and Pauley added two.
Holt finished the game with 18 points and Barbush added 17. Pauley, Menna and Bauer each grabbed a team-high seven rebounds. Elizabeth Snyder scored four points and grabbed six boards and Kristina McCarthy pulled down six rebounds.
Whitney Snoops led the Green Terror with 18 points and Kim Acton added 12.

F&M led 37-36 with 16:04 left to play in the second period but Hopkins answered with a 21-3 run that spanned 8:34 to seal the victory.
Alexa Barbush led all scorers in the second period with 11 points and shot 4-for-6 from the free throw line, but F&M could not keep up with Hopkins. The Blue Jays' defense caused seven Diplomat turnovers and a 23.1 shooting percentage in the second half.
The Blue Jays held the lead for most of the first half, going up by 12 points midway through the period. F&M chipped away at the score, including going 6-for-8 from the charity stripe, and took its first lead of the night heading into the locker room with a 28-27 edge.
Barbush recorded a game and career-high 18 points and also grabbed three rebounds for the Diplomats, while Megan Pauley and Allison Bauer added 8 points apiece.t.
Last Time We Met Haverford: Haverford sank six free throws, in the final 50 seconds of the game, to ice a 53-39 win over Franklin & Marshall in a Centennial Conference women's basketball game Saturday.
Franklin & Marshall was held scoreless in the first 11:50 of the first half as Haverford built an 11-0 lead. Alexa Barbush put F&M on the board with a layup at the 8:10 mark and Allison Bauer drained a three to make it 14-5 with 7:02 left.
Barbush scored a team-high 14 points for F&M with Bauer adding nine. Megan Pauley pulled down a team-high nine rebounds and dished out three assists.
