Series History: Franklin & Marshall tips off holiday action on Dec. 30 by hosting No. 22 NYU at 2:30 p.m. The meeting will be the first between the Diplomats and Violets.

F&M is back in action the following day, sending out 2016 with a 1:00 p.m. matchup against Randolph-Macon. The Yellow Jackets and Diplomats last squared off in 2011 at the Puerto Rico Classic in San Juan, P.R., with F&M taking a 61-55 decision for a 2-0 edge in the all-time series.

The Diplomats open 2017 on Jan. 6 by visiting Alvernia at 7:00 p.m. F&M has won all five previous meetings with the Crusaders, most recently by an 82-67 score on Dec. 13, 2014.

Recently for F&M: The second week of December saw the Diplomats in action twice, beginning with a 67-53 loss to Johns Hopkins on Dec. 7. A fast start and a two-point lead at halftime did not hold up as the Blue Jays led by as much as 26 in the second half.

The week wrapped up on Dec. 10 when F&M claimed a big 61-57 Centennial Conference (CC) win on the road at McDaniel. Four Diplomats scored in double digits as F&M opened a 12-point advantage early in the fourth, and used clutch shooting from the charity stripe to hold off the Green Terror.
