LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's Kristin Hamill was named the Centennial Conference (CC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. The honor is the first of Hamill's career and the first for a member of the F&M team this year.
In the first game of the new year, Hamill recorded a career-high 24 points, leading all scorers in the 76-55 win against Alvernia. The sophomore shot 10-for-18 from the floor, including four-for-seven from the free throw line. Hamill also came down with 12 rebounds, two steals, and one block.
The Diplomats return to action on Tuesday, travelling to Muhlenberg for 6:00 p.m. contest.
