Diplomats Win NCAA Division III Event at Murphy Cup

PHILADELPHIA -- F&M Women’s Varsity 8 won the NCAA Division III event in their first race of the season at the Murphy Cup. The Diplomat rowers defeated two crews from Bryn Mawr as well as entries from Susquehanna and Carnegie Mellon.

Rowing in the varsity boat were (from bow to coxswain, Emma Cedar, Kate Emert, Katie Winfree, Brittany George, Alex Merrick, Erin Bradley, Rebecca Weast, Allie Noll and coxswain Melissa Brotschul).

The Diplomats face the Washington College Shorewomen in Chestertown, Maryland. The races are set to begin at 10:00 am
