Women 18th on Navy Day

PHILADELPHIA - The Franklin & Marshall women's crew placed 18th amongst the 20 entries at the Navy Day Regatta.
The Diplomats finished the Collegiate 8 event with a time of 15:54. The University of Pennsylvania won the race in a time of 13:55. The Diplomats finished ahead of Mary Washington's B crew and Susquehanna.
In the Collegiate JV event, F&M's women finished 12th in a field of 15 beating Bryn Mawr, St. Joseph's B and Philadelphia University. The even was won by Navy in a time of 14.46
The women resume competition on Oct 25 in Saratoga, N.Y. at the Head of the Fish Regatta.
