LANCASTER, Pa. - Chelsey Talhelm has been named the Centennial Conference (CC) Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. She also earned the honor on Sept. 26.
Talhelm totaled two goals and an assist in a 2-0 week for Franklin & Marshall as the Diplomats moved to 11-0 on the year. She scored once in F&M's 2-1 victory over Johns Hopkins on Wednesday and tallied a goal and an assist in the Diplomats' 5-0 triumph over Haverford on Sunday.
The junior forward currently ranks third in the CC in points (28), fourth in goals (12) and fifth in assists (4).
The Diplomats return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 11 for a non-conference matchup against Lynchburg. Game time is set for 6:30 pm at Shenandoah.
