F&M Fall Schedules Released

LANCASTER, Pa. - Schedules for Franklin & Marshall's fall athletic teams have been announced and are available for viewing on GoDiplomats.com. Click the links above to access each team's 2013 slate of contests.

Friday, Aug. 30 will mark the opening of the 2013-14 F&M Athletics campaign with four teams hosting contests. Women's soccer will kick things off with a 2:30 p.m. matchup against Scranton at Tylus Field, followed by field hockey's 5:00 p.m. opener against Elizabethtown and men's soccer's showdown with Medaille at 7:30 p.m. Volleyball is set to host Lycoming at 6:00 p.m. and Penn St.-Berks at 8:00 p.m.

On Saturday, Aug. 31, men's and women's cross country begin the season at home on with the Blue & White Open at 9:00 a.m. on F&M's Baker Campus. Both men's and women's soccer will also host contests, with the women's squad taking on Alma at 3:00 p.m. followed by the men's team against Utica at 5:30 p.m. Volleyball travels to Lancaster Bible for a tri-match with LBC (10:00 a.m.) and Elizabethtown (12:00 p.m.).

Football will begin its campaign on Saturday, Sept. 7 at Washington & Lee at 1:00 p.m., with its home and Centennial Conference (CC) opener set for Sept. 14 against Muhlenberg at 1:00 p.m.

Women's soccer opens up CC play at home against Swarthmore on Sunday, Sept. 15, while field hockey starts CC competition at Swarthmore on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Men's soccer and volleyball open CC play on the road on Saturday, Sept. 21, with men's soccer traveling to Washington College and volleyball making the trek to Ursinus.

Headlining the list of home dates this fall will be F&M's annual Homecoming & Family Weekend Oct. 4-6. The Hall of Fame Dinner will open the festivities on the evening of Friday, Oct. 4. On Saturday, volleyball and field hockey will both square off against Haverford at 12:00 p.m., while football will meet Dickinson at 1:30 p.m. Men's soccer hosts McDaniel at 3:30 p.m., with women's soccer wrapping up the busy day of action against Haverford at 7:00 p.m.

Centennial Conference Championships will start in early November, with the men's and women's cross country championships scheduled to open the CC fall postseason on Saturday, Nov. 2. The first round of the CC playoffs for field hockey, men's soccer and women's soccer is set for Wednesday, Nov. 6, with the semifinals and finals scheduled for the second weekend in November.
