Falcone, Consiglio Tabbed for NFHCA Senior Game

GENEVA, N.Y. – Franklin & Marshall's Bridget Falcone and Melanie Consiglio were selected as two of 72 seniors named for the 2016 Victory Sports Tours/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Senior Game. Falcone was named as one of 60 participants while Consiglio was chosen as an alternate for the game, which will be played on Saturday, Nov. 19th at 4:00 p.m. on the campus of William Smith College.

Falcone has started all 16 games for a Diplomat defense that ranks second in the Centennial Conference (CC) with 0.92 goals allowed per game. An All-Region Second Team and All-CC Second Team Selection in 2015, the New Canaan, Conn. native has one goal and two assists in her career, and has started in each of F&M's 18 shutouts throughout the past two seasons.

Consiglio has enjoyed a breakout senior campaign, leading the Diplomats with 12 goals and 26 points. As a captain, she has started all 16 contests for No. 7 F&M, and currently has 23 goals for her career.

The Diplomats begin their quest for a second CC Championship and sixth conference championship overall on Saturday, taking on Muhlenberg in a semifinal on the campus of Ursinus at 2:30 p.m.
