Series History: F&M travels to No. 1 Messiah on Wednesday for a 7:00 p.m. matchup. The Falcons have historically been dominant, owning a 21-7-4 lead over the Diplomats in the all-time series, with the last F&M win coming in 2014.

The Diplomats remain on the road Saturday for a 12:00 p.m. contest at Swarthmore. F&M has controlled the Garnet, owning a 16-10 advantage, and currently hold an active nine-game streak.

Last Game Against Messiah: Last season, F&M dropped a tough overtime loss to Messiah 3-2 on Sept. 21.

Sydney Cole got on the board first with a score in the sixth minute. The Falcons scored the next two goals to take the lead, before Nicole Bodo tied the game to force overtime in the 65th minute.

Last Game Against Swarthmore: The Diplomats opened conference play last year against the Garnet, and took home the 2-0 victory on Sept. 17.

Colleen Francis tallied the first goal with seven seconds left in the first half to put F&M on the board. Erin Coverdale recorded the second goal in the 62nd minute to ensure F&M's victory.

Last Week: F&M started the week on Wednesday traveling to Carlisle to earn the 2-0 victory against Dickinson.  Paige Notarianni and Emily Nagle recorded goals for the Diplomats' win.

On Saturday, the Diplomats returned home, hosting Haverford where F&M came away with the 3-0 victory and Coverdale recording her second hat trick in three games.

In the Rankings: F&M moved up to No. 11 in this week's NFHCA National Coaches poll. Ursinus is the only other CC team to make the top-20 while Messiah remains in the top spot.

Among the Leaders: Coverdale's three goals last week bump her to first among CC players with nine. She is also in the lead with 19 points nearly halfway through the season.

Goalkeeper Ilianna Santangelo also places on the leaderboard. Two shutouts this week gives her the top spot among CC keepers with a goals-against average of 0.58. 

Milestone Watch: Cole ranks 12th in career goals (29), and needs one more to tie Eileen O'Reilly '11. She is also 13th in career points (74). With 19 goals in her career so far, Coverdale stands to break the top-25, needing only one more. Coverdale also enters the top-30 in career points with 42, while Brittany Croll '06 leads the category with 127. Recording one game-winner so far this season pushed Cole to second with 12, and only one goal behind record holder Becky Willert '12. Cole and Annie Horsley are close to breaking the top-10; Cole has 16 assists to put her in 11th, and needing one more to tie for eighth, while Horsley has 15. Eileen O'Reilly '11 leads this category with 35.  

Tallying one defensive save so far, Sarah Schannauer is tied for second (10), with Steph McDonald '13 leading the category at 16. Santangelo entrenched her second place spot with 34 wins, and is now fourth in shutouts with 17, while Laura Cianciulli '82 leads with 30.
